Current Tactical Carbine Rules & Information
Tactical Carbine matches operate under a cold range. Please do not arrive with a loaded gun on your person. If you are new to competitive shooting please find the match director when you arrive and we will help you.
New shooters are encouraged. We will have a new shooter briefing before each match. Please be confident with basic firearm safety. A range bag to store your gun or a gun cart are required between moving between bays in addition to open bolt indicators to indicate your gun is safe. A typical Tactical Carbine match is between ??? and ??? rounds. A good rule of thumb is to bring double the round count.
Stages will be either a real-world scenario format or a skills test; most will be scenarios. IDPA shooters will find these to be familiar. Depending on the number of shooters, skill level, range conditions, and weather the match directors may add, remove, or alter stages as needed. The intent is to keep the match within a 3-4 hour timeframe once we start shooting.
Registration is done using Practiscore. We do not accept cash payments. Please see the registration form on Practiscore for information.
