Practical Accuracy matches are held the 2nd Saturday of each month, weather permitting. These matches are a combination of IDPA and USPSA. Stages can be up to 24 scored rounds, no concealment garment required, no requirement to retain mags, and will use fault lines/shooting areas. We use IDPA targets with scoring as follows: Down Zero, Down Three, Down Five, Down 7 for Misses, and 10 for Non-Threats – hence, Practical Accuracy. Poorly placed shots will be tough to overcome. Rimfire falling steel match.
RFS is an all falling steel match format. The match is designed to be shot with 22LR rifles, pistols, or revolvers. It is a simple sport to score, easy to run and inexpensive to start as a competitor or as a new sanctioned club. The low equipment cost to start as well as the ammunition cost makes this ideal to introduce new shooters into competitive shooting. Even for experienced shooters, RFS is engaging with its high-speed competition.
